Reservation Policy

If You Feel Unwell

Please call ahead and cancel. Please do not come in if you are unwell, I will re schedule you at the next convenient time and day available. In the meantime you may be placed on the wait list.

Confirmation

We will send you an SMS reminder 1-2 days before your appointment. Please reply ‘yes’ to confirm, or reschedule.
Unconfirmed appointments may be released to the waiting list, as I have generally found if someone doesn’t confirm, they are not coming. Do not risk your appointment by not replying back. Your spot is allocated to you & failure to show is unfair on those waiting on my waitlist for an appointment. I have a two strikes pay full price to book your next appointment policy. If you no show for the appointment after the reminder you will forfeit 50% of the treatment.

Informed Consent

Before your treatment we will email you a consultation form.
For insurance & health department compliance, we can’t treat you until you have completed it.

Arrival

Please come 5 minutes early to ensure your booking starts on time. Ring the doorbell on arrival and wait in the wait room until your booking.
Late arrivals may not be able to receive all of their appointment, as I must run on time for the next person. If there’s not enough time to complete the treatment to my standard, I will ask you to reschedule. If you are 15min late you “will” be re scheduled.

Phones off

This is a new policy to allow me to do my best work without interruption from messages or calls, while you benefit from the calm space. It also helps me maintain my room sanitation level. Answering your phone slows my progress down.

Payment

I accept eftpos, debit, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, ZipPay $50 and over, ApplePay, direct bank transfer & cash. No surcharge is applied on credit cards.

Children

For safety reasons children are not able to join you. This is a OHS requirement. New borns in capsules are permitted. Please make other arrangements for toddlers/children as I do not have the space in the treatment rooms for prams or strollers and they can not be left unattended in the salon wait room. It is also not fair for them to sit quietly and still for extended time, neither is it relaxing for you or myself when they are upset.

What to wear?

At Kitty Kat Skin and Beauty we are all about relaxation and comfort. If you turn up in your Pj’s or trackies you’ll still be treated like the Queen that you are, and the bonus is you’ll get to leave feeling cosy & pretty and for some of you, ready for bed. For skin treatments please wear bra or spagetti strap tops for ease of treatment otherwise you will need to remove your tops before treatment but we will maintain your modesty at all times.

Prepaid Series

When you prepay a series of treatments, they're to be performed in a certain time frame, specific to each series and stated at the time of sale.
This ensures you get the results promised (and we get the kudos for making you look amazing!)

If you need to cancel a treatment that was part of a prepaid series, the same rules apply as any other treatment: 24 hours notice, or you lose your deposit.  In this case there is no 'deposit' paid per treatment, so that one of your series is forfeited.  You could still send someone in your place to use your series if you prefer.

Series carry a heavy discount, so they're not refundable and not able to be swapped out for other treatments.  If you want to have something different on the day, that's usually fine, but you'll need to pay for it separately.

Series can't be shared between people, but if you can't come, you can avoid forfeiting the deposit by sending someone else in your place to use your treatment.

Cancellation due to illness or suspected illness

We require 24 hours notice of any changes, cancellations to or rescheduling of your appointment.
Less notice will forfeit the deposit paid. This includes for illness or suspected illness. We appreciate your understanding that as a boutique business, our deposit system and reservation policy keeps us financially viable.

If you feel you may be unwell, let us know with 24 hours notice. If you are unable to give this amount of notice, regrettably your reservation deposit is forfeited to ensure we are still able to pay the therapists rostered for the time you were booked.

Gift Vouchers

If you received a voucher for a treatment but you'd rather have something else, that's okay!   Just ask us when you book in.  You can exchange for the same dollar value, unless the voucher says otherwise.
Vouchers expire after 12 months, unless otherwise stated on the voucher eg. some promotional vouchers have a shorter expiry if they were free with a purchase.
