VitaFusion Vitamin A Cold Peel is a unique non-acid peel treatment that avoids damage to the epidermis by deeply delivering a high dose of advanced active ingredients with liposomal technology. It gently resurfaces the epidermis by feeding the dermis to encourage healthy cell renewal, making it safe for all fitzpatrick types and every skin condition. Delivering a concentrated dose of Retinaldehyde (Vitamin A) to the skin, resulting in a multitude of benefits for the skin. VitaFusion works from the inside out building healthy new cells that increase cell turnover causing the skin to shed the top layer.

Vitamin a helps to speed up healing, prevent breakouts and support the skin's immune system and it promotes natural moisturising - which means it helps to hydrate the skin effectively, giving it a radiant glow. it assists in promoting and maintaining a healthy dermis and epidermis; the top two layers of your skin.

2.5% Retinaldehyde is the most potent and least irritating form of vitamin A. The vitamin A infusion peel is customized to meet each client’s specific skin needs and concerns. I create a custom blend of antioxidants and nutrients that is mixed with the concentrated vitamin A prior to application. With three treatment levels there is a solution for everyone.

Skin is prepped two weeks prior to treatment with propriatory RX’s for enhanced skin results.

Retinaldehyde 2.5%

 WHAT TO EXPECT

 Is there downtime?

You may experience mild to moderate flaking/peeling after this treatment. This normally begins on the second day after the peel, and continues for 2-4 days. Some clients do not peel.

 Is there discomfort?

A very mild tingling sensation can sometimes be felt during the treatment, but not always. The peel involves a lot of massage (to increase absorption of the vitamin A) so it is very relaxing.

How often?

Every four weeks is usually the optimal time frame between vitamin A peels, and we typically recommend a course of 3 or more, for best results. Results peak 1-2 weeks later.

Can I wear makeup afterward?

We recommend to leave the skin clean for the rest of the day/evening following the vitamin A peel, and to use only mineral makeup if possible, for the week after the treatment to avoid any irritation.

Pregnancy Safe?

Retinaldahyde is never found in the blood stream.

Please note-preparation 2-4 weeks prior to Rx or maintenance treatments. Clients who are not on vitamin A + C must prep skin prior to treatment with Prep kit.
